Events at Elula, Newcastle Upon-Tyne

Regular visitors may notice there is now an "Events" tab in to top menu. This is because I am very pleased to be returning to Elula to run workshops throughout 2019.
I have facilitated workshops at this Newcastle venue for a number of years, but unfortunately had to take much of 2018 off for medical reasons.
Now the badges are off and my surgeon is happy I'm healed, I can't wait to be back.

21st: Litha
The Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. As this is the time when the light is at it's strongest, it is seen as a good time to bring forward all those plans you would like to see come into fruition. It is know as the night when all wishes are granted. It is regarded as a time to gather with friends, celebrate life and look towards a generous harvest, not only of the land, but of everything we have worked towards.

28th: Full Moon
Marks the start of the month of Æfteraliða

1st: Beltane/
The word Beltane originates from Celtic and Gaelic words meaning ‘bright fire’, and is celebrated by the lighting of bonfires. It is a celebration of life, the earth is in full bloom and the days are long. It is a time to celebrate all the you have been given and all you have achieved. It is also a time to look at the parts of your life in which you feel less fulfilled and make positive plans to address this. Beltane is also a festival of fertility, when the God and Goddess join together.
